Dicker House is managed by an elected Committee of volunteer parents who are responsible for the fundraising, finance, policy making and staffing of Dicker House. We would like to encourage you to join the Committee as new ideas are warmly welcomed. Meetings are held at regular intervals, usually at the home of a Committee member in the evenings.
We have our AGM about January each year when the committee is re-elected and new members proposed although you are of course invited to join whenever it suits you! As a registered charity, the preschool relies on parent membership of the committee as we are not allowed to operate without a fully functioning committee. Being involved with the committee is not all hard work, and parents find that it is a good opportunity to become actively involved in all aspects of the preschool.
Before each event we always put out a note asking for potential helpers, items we are collecting, and times we require help for, so please look out for these extra letters in your child's trays or on the notice boards. Full details of the current Committee are on the notice board in the foyer.
